Barclays contacted Oliver Agency at the
start of the lockdown with the intention of
hiring approximately fifty employees for
their customer engagement team over the
course of two months. I was in charge of
creating half of the primary recruitment
pool by posting job openings on LinkedIn
and conducting headhunting to find the
best prospects. In order to work with
applicants, further compensation and
benefit discussions were necessary. As a
consequence, a team of campaign and
content managers signed permanent and
short-term contracts. Many of these hires
are still in post today.
